Experiments that display 1,000s of colours at once on an Atari ST/STE, by Neil Rackett:

• PLASMA1.TOS computes and renders 4 static thousands-of-colours gradients on any STE (hundreds-of-colours on ST)
• PLASMA2.TOS animates a 3x3 colour gradient
• IMAGE4K1.TOS displays images with 1 palette per row (16 colours per row = 3,200 total)
• IMAGE4K2.TOS displays images with 2 palettes per row (32 colours per row = 6,400 total)
• IMAGE4K3.TOS displays images with 3 palettes per row (48 colours per row = 9,600 total)
