Rise of the Triad was ported to Atari ST, TT & Falcon by Neil Rackett

Atari ST

If you have an Atari ST, STE or Mega STE this is the version for you; ROTT Accelerator is highly recommended.

• ROTT_ST.TOS is optimised for ST, STE and Mega STE
• ROTT Accelerator enables your ST to run ROTT_ST.TOS at full speed using your SidecarTridge Multi-device as a GPU (see below)

Requires 4MB RAM and supports keyboard, mouse and Xpad controls.

Atari TT & Falcon

The SDL version brings the full 256-colour ROTT experience to the Atari TT and Falcon (and a slow greyscale one to ST), including intro videos and menu animations.

• ROTT_SDL.TOS is for all ST-compatible computers
• ROTT_030.TOS is optimised for 68030 CPU with 68882 FPU

Requires 4MB RAM and supports keyboard and mouse controls.

Installation

1. Extract all the files from HUNTBGIN.zip to your ST, TT or Falcon's hard drive
2. Copy ROTT_*.TOS files to the same folder
3. Run ROTT_*.TOS
4. Enjoy!

ROTT Accelerator

On it's own, ROTT is just about playable on a Mega STE and more like a slideshow on a regular ST, but if you have a SidecarTridge Multi-device, the ROTT Accelerator enables you to play ROTT_ST.TOS at full speed, with 3D graphics rendered at up to 30fps.

• ROTT Accelerator is available now in the Multi-device store
• You'll see a ⚡ in the bottom status bar when ROTT Accelerator is active.
• To return to Booster, switch on your ST while holding SELECT on your SidecarT.

Manual installation

1. Copy the json and uf2 files below into the /apps folder on the Multi-device's microSD card.
2. Put the card back in the Multi-device and switch on your ST.
3. On the Booster screen, press Esc for the app list, then select ROTT Accelerator.
